Aprons...can you have enough?

I love to crochet, it is so relaxing. These little dish cloths are so easy, you can whip out a couple in one evening. I use two strands of 100% cotton yarn for that extra chunky feel . Use a single crochet for the first row, double crochet second row and so on. Then a nice little ruffle around for that cute little touch.

I love all of the bright colors that are available now.

This is a travel sewing kit made from 100% wool and upholstery fabric. I used vintage buttons and beads to embellish. I just love making these...the possibles are endless.

This is a puppy I made for my little grandson. It too was made from upholstery scraps and vintage buttons.

Another pin cushion...I just can't stop making these. This one is made from a tin can, upholstery scraps and a little trim.

Hand stitched small wallet. I created this using upholstery scraps. Then embellished it with a vintage button and embroidery.

This decorative pillow was embellished using crayons to color the design, embroidery stitches, silk flowers and beads. Sewn together with recycled upholstery fabric.

This is a painted canvas, then I used decorative napkins to decoupage the edges.

This is another pincushion I made. I used recycled wool and made it extra tall for all of my long quilting pins.

Just a fun little pincushion. I can't have too many of these.

Well, I finally finished my "comfort quilt". Now I'm working on finishing my UFO's (un-finished-objects).

I don't really know what I'm doing here. But I've read alot of other blogs and it sounds like fun. So here I go.
Well, I love fabric and I enjoy seeing what new things I can do with it. I also love recycling, so I came up with this very handy caddy made out of old pairs of jeans from my kids. I used a "gold fish" (snack food) box as the base. It's wonderful...I use it to hold all of my quilting tools.
